04 May News

On Monday a woman came to the police department reporting that a 27 year old woman harasses her and calls her at all hours of the day. The most recent call included screaming and swearing. An officer advised the victim that she may want to look into obtaining a restraining order against the suspect.

A resident reported hearing breaking glass and a female yelling in a next door apartment. The person then saw a woman leaving in a car. The reporting party checked the apartment and found the back door broken and vandalized. The male resident came home and told the officer he saw the 27 year old female suspect at a bar early that day. An officer is investigating the case.

Yesterday morning a Tomahawk woman called from out of town. She said her teen daughter went to their home to get items for school. She noticed a suspicious man lying in a bed in their home. An officer arrived and eventually woke the suspect. The 31 year old man did not realize he had returned to the wrong home that night. He was issued a citation for criminal trespass. The suspect also had a warrant through Lincoln County, and he was transferred to the jail.
