A woman was injured following an ATV crash last night in Lincoln County.

Sixty one year old Linda Schoessow of Wausau was traveling on the ATV when she struck a tree. Emergency crews were called to the crash on a trail near 1st Avenue and County Rd. X in the town of Russell.

She was transported by Merrill EMS to Ministry Good Samaritan where she was treated for her injuries through the early evening. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The Rec Deputy is investigating.
