Two people were injured following a single vehicle crash on Highway 51 yesterday near Tomahawk.

Lincoln County Sheriff deputies responded to the accident on Highway 51 just south of Highway 8 at around noon. A 52 year old West Allis woman and her 4 year old passenger were injured in the crash.

The woman was transported to Ministry Sacred Heart where she was treated and released. The child was transported by Mayo Air to Children’s Hospital and Ministry St. Joseph’s hospital.

The name of the passenger and the cause of the crash has not been released as the reports are still being completed.
