Many in Minocqua awoke yesterday with no power following a car crash.

a car struck a power pole on County Highway J near Highway 47. The accident occurred at just before 7:00.

Power outage maps from Wisconsin Public Service say that over 4,000 people lost their power for a short time. Crews had nearly all power restored within the hour.

There was no update given on what caused the crash or the status of those involved.
