Friends and Family of a missing Wausau woman gathered last night to mark the anniversary of her disappearance.
Twenty two year old Stephanie Low went missing from her Wausau apartment two years ago yesterday. Just like last year, those close to Low attended a candlelight vigil and balloon release.
Nearly 300 purple balloons were released over the event at Oak Island Park, each balloon stuffed with a missing person flier. Organizers say they hope this event helps keep Low on the minds of people in the community, and they’ll keep holding the event until new developments come out of the investigation.
The event was hosted by Missing Not Forgotten, and the candlelight vigil by Low’s mother Claudia Blake.
