Once again Tomahawk High School will be hosting the District Theatre Festival.
Tomahawk will be the first group to take the stage tomorrow with their performance beginning at 9:00. Northland Pines goes at 9:45, followed by Niagra at 10:15, Oconto Falls at 11:15 and Lakeland at Noon. There is no charge for admission to the performances.
Tomahawk High School will present “The Swine of Avon” by Thomas Hischak. The students will showcase the story of William Shankspeare in an unusual and humorous perspective of his life from birth in Fatsford-on-Avon to fame in Loin-don all the way to West-Ham-ster Abbey. It includes his famous works “Swineo and Drooliet”, “MacBoar” and “Loin’s Labors Lost.”
Jacob Hooper will take on the role of the famous playwright Shankspeare; Gabriella Urmann and Brianna Tracey will play Pigskin and Pigsty and Tim Stefanich will take on the multiple roles of Boarbage, Don Armadillo and Porkrind III.
