An Oneida County jury found a Tomahawk man guilty of several charges stemming from a Facebook conversation with a minor teen.
Abel Jump had pleaded not guilty to multiple felonies including Child Enticement and bail jumping according to court records. The jury deliberated for under 2 hours before reaching the guilty verdict.
The 23 year old was accused back in June of the explicit conversation with a 16 year old girl over the social networking site Facebook. Jump argued that while he did have a conversation with the girl, the explicit messages were not sent by him.
His sentencing date has not been set, but he could face up to 25 years for the charges.
