A local VFW is expanding their efforts to raise money for the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.

The Wurl-Feind Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2687 has announced they have opened a bank account to receive donations to support the Northern Wisconsin section of the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.

Recently, Post 2687 gave over $3,000 to the Honor Flight. That funding will allow another 6 veterans to participate in the trip to Washington, DC where they are able to attend various memorials in the Nation’s capital.

The account has been opened at the Tomahawk branch of River Valley Bank, where donations can be deposited. They can also be mailed to VFW Post 2687 NHNF; PO Box 106; Tomahawk, WI 54487.
