Tomahawk Police Department Reports

19 Oct News

An officer is investigating a disorderly conduct complaint from Tuesday. The reporting party says a man was causing problems, by throwing garbage and yelling on his property.

Tuesday evening a person came in reporting teens throwing rocks at the car near North 4th Street and Somo Avenue. There was no apparent damage done to the vehicle. The officer spoke with the parents and the teens and warned them of their behavior.

A reporting party called police to an incident at an area business parking lot. A male allegedly punched another’s vehicle window and broke it. The reporting party said the man was angry and consuming alcohol. The suspect refused an alcohol test. Probation and Parole was contacted and they placed a hold on the man. He was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital to treat cuts from the glass, then transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.

A 24 year old male was wanted on a warrant and commitment order from the Lincoln County Courts for failure to pay child support. Officers took the suspect into custody at a residence.

Police received an apprehension request for a 23 year old male, who was found at a Tomahawk motel. He was taken into custody and transferred to the jail Wednesday evening. He will also face an additional charge, stemming from the arrest, for possessing a controlled substance.
