One Merrill man was arrested, while another was treated at the hospital following a disturbance early yesterday morning.

Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies, along with EMS, were called to the disturbance in the town of Corning at just after 12:30 yesterday morning. They found a 56 year old man injured, and transported him to the hospital.

A 33 year old man was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and was eventually released after posting bond. Both men may face additional charges from the incident according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies indicate that information on the incident is scarce due to alcohol being involved.
