Two people were taken into custody following an ambulance call in Lincoln County over the weekend.
Authorities responded to a 911 call for a man reported unconscious in a vehicle Saturday evening in the Town of Pine River. The vehicle was located on County Road W.
Two other passengers in the car said the 36 year old Wausau man had taken heroin and became unconscious. He was taken to Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center where he was treated, and then arrested after treatment.
The man also had two outstanding warrants through Marathon County, including a felony for escape. A 28 year old female passenger was also arrested on a probation hold after admitting to using the heroin.
Deputies continue to investigate, and the vehicle was impounded.
