The Tomahawk Hatchet Volleyball Team has advanced to the WIAA Sectional Final with a three games to two victory over Antigo on Thursday night.   

Game scores were 25-21, 19-25, 25-18, 24-26 and 15-13.  With the victory, Tomahawk improves to 34-10 on the season. 

Anna Nyberg had 29 kills, Hanna Doughty had 12 kills and 6 blocks, Becca Doughty had 49 assists and Hanna Meyer had 10 kills.

Tomahawk will play Barron on Saturday night, Barron advanced with a three games to two victory over Altoona. 

The WIAA Sectional Final will be at Altoona High School on Saturday night, with the best of five match at 7:00 pm.  Northwoods 92-5 will have the prematch show at 6:30 pm.  Tomahawk is looking for their fourth consecutive trip to the WIAA State Tournament.  The winner of Saturday night’s match will face the Kettle Moraine Lutheran / Catholic Memorial winner at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Friday afternoon.
