The next few days, Nicolet College Foundation will be holding their biggest fund-raising event of the year.

The 12th annual “A Day for Nicolet” takes place October 30 and November 1. They have raised more than $1 million  which has turned into more than 1,000 scholarships in the twelve years.

During the day, volunteers will make personal visits and phone calls to potential donors asking for their support. Part of the success is the matching funds received from generous benefactors.

Heather Shallock, executive director of Nicolet College Foundation says, “These scholarships have played an important role in supporting Nicolet Students as they earn their degrees and diplomas.”

She added that every dollar contributed to “A Day for Nicolet” is used for student scholarships. Anyone who would like to make a contribution can contact Shallock at 715-365-4518.
