Multiple northwoods fire departments were called to a residence near Woodruff last night.

Crews were called to the home on Woodland Drive at just after 5:30. The Minocqua, Arbor Vitae, Woodruff and Lake Tomahawk Fire Departments all responded. With the mutual aide, crews were able to put the fire out. The home did sustain smoke damage.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire, which they believe may have started in the basement. There were no injuries reported.
