The Governor of Wisconsin made a quick stop in Tomahawk yesterday.
Governor Scott Walker held a luncheon in support of a local Republican candidate in the lead up to next week’s election.
The state legislature is currently split, with Republicans controlling the Assembly and Democrats holding the Senate. Wisconsin’s political scene has appeared largely partisan in the past 2 years. The state saw multiple recall elections, including the Governor’s, which he survived.
In addition to the event, Governor Walker also stopped at several businesses in the area.
