Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Officers investigated a report of vandalism at a cabin on Bowen Road. The reporting party said that a screen was taken off a window and there were holes shot into lawn furniture. The officer determined that no entry was gained into the cabin.

An officer responded to a Tomahawk motel Monday for a domestic dispute between a Louisiana couple. The officer verified that the incident was only verbal in nature. It was determined that all was well and the woman was leaving.

A Tomahawk woman reported receiving constant and occasionally threatening text messages. The woman stated she only wanted contact regarding a child. The woman was informed to file for a restraining order, and the man’s probation and parole agent will be contacted regarding the incident.

A person reported his vehicle was struck in the High School parking lot, but he was not injured. The officer went to the driver of the other vehicle’s home. The 18 year old said he left because he didn’t want to be yelled at. He was issued a warning for operating without insurance and a citation for failure to report an accident.

Early yesterday morning an officer was called to a residence on West Leather Avenue for a fight with pushing. All parties involved said that there was nothing physical. It was determined that a 37 year old Rhinelander man was in violation of his bond which included no alcohol consumption. He was arrested and taken to the jail.
