Late last week the Wisconsin State Patrol requested assistance near a Tomahawk Business. The Patrol Unit had pulled into the parking lot as a shoplifting suspect was running out of the building. The 25 year old was eventually taken into custody on a theft charge. He also had a warrant through Oneida County. He was transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.
Officer’s were called to a residence regarding an incident between a teen and two adults. The teen left in a vehicle without permission prior to the officer’s arrival. Probation and parole was called because of the man’s involvement. The 36 year old was taken to the jail on a probation hold and disorderly conduct charge. The teen will be referred to social services for disorderly conduct.
A Tomahawk man reported that his motor home had been vandalized on East Kings Road. The man was informed of the incident by a neighbor. It was determined that nothing obvious had been stolen, but the victim would advise if anything was noticed missing during cleanup.
An officer was called to a West Leather Avenue location after receiving a report of a man shooting a gun in the city limits. The officer contacted the suspect, the 25 year old Medford man was advised of the ordinance regarding shooting a firearm in the city.
A reporting party from a West Wisconsin Avenue establishment called police regarding a woman outside causing trouble. Officer’s contacted the Tomahawk woman. She was warned for disorderly conduct. The officer arranged a taxi for the woman to get home.
