After months of commercials, phone calls, and mailers, citizens will get the final say in today’s general election.
Millions of voters across the United States will head to the polls today to vote on elected positions from President to down to local races.
As always in Tomahawk, residents will vote at SARA Park. The polls will be open between 7am and 8pm. SARA Park is handicap accessible and is located on West Somo Avenue.
Voters can check their poll location and voting status by logging on to the State Government Accountability Board’s website myvote.wi.gov. That website also has a sample ballot available once you enter your location.
National races appearing on all Wisconsin Ballots include President, US Senate, and US Representative, plus state representative.
Voters can still register to vote at the polling location with a proof of residence document. You will have to sign the poll book, but a voter ID is not required as that legislation is still in the courts. Voters standing in line to vote when the polling place closes will be permitted to vote.
We will have results of the races on the morning show tomorrow.
