A Wausau woman being charged with animal abuse has had her next court appearance scheduled for early next month.
A Marathon County Judge scheduled an arraignment for Sean Janas on December 3. At the arraignment, formal charges will be read and Janas will enter her plea to those charges.
The 20 year old is currently facing felonies for mistreatment of animals causing death and poisoning an animal. Her boyfriend’s dog died earlier this year, and officials are accusing her of killing the animal. She also allegedly wrote disturbing entries into her journal regarding the dog.
Previous court appearances for Janas have lead to protestors outside the Marathon County Courthouse.
