Roger Steckham was awarded 2012 George Hudson award at the annual Lincoln County Veteran’s Luncheon.
This award is given to a Legionnaire who is dedicated to doing exemplary service. For Roger Steckham, he has devoted over 15 years honoring our beloved veterans who have served our country.
At the over 44 funerals and ceremonies, he maintained and readied the rifles. The American Legion, Post 93 says he has exhibited expert handling and has been a source of pride for the Post 93 and the firing squad.
The luncheon was recently held at the Rodeway Inn in Tomahawk.
