An Antigo man has died while hunting over the weekend in Lincoln County.
Fifty one year old Steven M. Jackson was found unresponsive on Saturday evening in the Town of Russell. The 911 call came in to dispatch at around 6:15.
A hunting companion was performing CPR when the first emergency responders arrived at the scene. Jackson was pronounced dead a short time later.
The cause of his death is being investigated, but foul play is not suspected. Jackson was the head of the Langlade County Forestry Department.
Meanwhile, in Marathon County, a hunter was pronounced dead after falling from his tree stand. Sean Lewanski of Green Bay was 51.
