City of Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Officer’s investigated a theft from a vehicle in the High School parking lot last Friday. Items taken from the vehicle include a stereo, iPod and accessories. The owner says the vehicle was secured at the time.

Officers were called to a Tomahawk business Friday night after a complaint. The reporting party said a woman was harassing and spitting on the victim. They also said the woman threw a garbage can. The 25 year old female suspect was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting. She was cleared at Sacred Heart Hospital and transported to the jail.

An Appleton man was arrested following a traffic stop Saturday. An officer pulled the man over for speeding on West Leather Avenue. After noting the odor of intoxicants, the driver was asked to perform a field sobriety test. As a result the man was taken into custody for a first offense of operating while intoxicated. With no responsible party available, he was taken to the Lincoln County Jail. He is also being cited for operating while suspended third offense and speeding.

A man followed up with police after initially reporting a lost wallet. He later discovered other small items possible missing from his vehicle. The man felt his wallet may have been in the vehicle at the time. The man canceled his credit cards and wanted the information kept on file.
