While officials have called off the search for a Three Lakes man missing in Alaska, friends and colleagues continue to look.
Thomas Seibold has now been missing for nearly a month in the Alaska Wilderness. The survivalist had been hiking in Alaska and hadn’t been heard from since October.
Recently, Alaska State Troopers have called off their search after two weeks. The Teaching Drum School in Three Lakes, of which Seibold is affiliated are now raising money to continue the search. They have set up an account at 1st National Bank in Eagle River. The donations will be used for aerial searches.
As time goes on, conditions in Alaska become more treacherous. Cold temperatures, snow and diminishing daylight hours all make search attempts more difficult.
