An ongoing cold weather drive in the Tomahawk Community will be coming to an end this weekend.
For the past several weeks, St. Mary’s Church in Tomahawk has been collecting blankets, jackets, gloves, hats and mittens to be sent to Superstorm Sandy Victims in the tri-state area.
Organizers heard from family members living out East and decided to those affected by the storm as the colder months approach.
The drive comes to a close on Sunday. They will then ship those items to Long Island, New York where they will go to St. Vincent DePaul.
