The city of Tomahawk will be holding their monthly meetings for December.
The Board of Public Works meets at 5:00. New business includes considering purchase of a Little Rice plow truck and a request for a pedestrian crossing sign nearly Harley Davidson. Old business on the agenda includes a snow blower update, Somo Ave., State Highway 86 rail crossing and 5 year capital improvement projects program.
License and Permits will meet at 6. The only agenda item is a lone operator license. The Finance Committee meets at 6:30. Old business on the agenda once again includes an easement across city property on Green Box Road, plus a special assessment policy.
Finally the Common Council meets at 7. They will have a public hearing on the budget and levy amounts for 2013. Other ordinances on the agenda include increasing the fee for bike registration and parking fines; amending the municipal code to include theft; and amending the sign code.
Two resolutions also appear on the agenda: authorizing a representative to file applications from the environmental improvement fund and declaring official intent to reimburse expenditures.
