A Tomahawk man was sentenced to 5 years in prison as a result of an online conversation with a teen.
Twenty three year old Abel Jump was sentenced late last week in Oneida County court. He was previously convicted by a jury of felonies for child enticement and bail jumping.
Jump pleaded no contest to a separate charge of threatening a judge. That sentence will be served concurrent with the previous charges.
The charges stem from incidents earlier this year involving Facebook conversations with a 16 year old girl. Those conversations eventually turned sexual in nature.
In addition to the prison time, Jump will also be required to perform community service and will have 8 year of extended supervision.
