A Tomahawk man is listed in fair condition following a shooting incident yesterday in the area.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon in the town of Somo. The victim, a 66 year old man, was transported to Ministry Sacred Heart hospital for treatment of the injuries.

He was later taken to a trauma center for further treatment of the gunshot wound. The man was listed in fair condition as of last night according to a news release from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office.

Deputies are continuing to investigate and meet with witnesses, including one already yesterday. Further details on the incident have not been released.
