The Lincoln County Rodeo Association has returned the favor to local organizations who gave their time this year.

Organizers of the 2012 Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo awarded donations to the Tomahawk Girl Scout Troop 7218, Faith LIFE Youth Group, Corning All-Stars 4-H Club, Mounted Search and Rescue, Merrill Eagles Club and the Merrill Amateur Radio Group.

In addition the Lincoln County Rodeo Association also made contributions to the Merrill and Tomahawk Food Pantries and the Marshfield Clinic-Tough Enough to Wear Pink Campaign.

In total, nearly $7,700 was donated to the various groups and organizations. The Association is already preparing for next year’s rodeo which will be June 7-9 at the Lincoln County Fair Grounds.
