Officers investigated and eventually located the driver involved in a property hit and run, after someone struck a city sign. They located a vehicle in the High School Parking lot with matching bumper damage and tire treads. The 18 year old eventually admitted to striking the sign.
Probation and parole requested an alcohol consumption check on a 43 year old male at a Tomahawk residence. As a result of the test, the man’s probation was placed on hold and he was taken into custody. He was eventually transferred to corrections.
A vehicle spun out and struck a curb in the city. The tires were damage and the inoperable vehicle came to rest on the railroad tracks. An officer contacted the railway to halt any trains that may come through until the vehicle could be removed. It was discovered that the driver had an active warrant through Oneida County. He was also cited for operating after suspension and driving with no insurance.
Officers stood by after a vehicle struck a bus on County Road D yesterday morning before school. The investigation was then turned over to the Lincoln County Sheriff deputy.
There were multiple minor crashes and slide-offs reported throughout the weekend, with no injuries reported.
