A Merrill man was jailed Friday evening after law enforcement discovered him hunting after hours.
A DNR warden discovered a truck parked on Timber Lane Friday evening at around 5:00pm. The warden discovered Dustin Carl Elsholtz bow hunting after dark.
The 26 year old admitted to driving to the location on a revoked driver’s license and was cited for a 5th offense operating while revoked. He was also charged with a felony count of bail jumping after violating terms of a bond in Shawano County. He is being held on a probation hold.
