A benefit has been set up for an area veteran who lost his home last weekend.

On December 8, Kenny Gano lost his Town of Birch home in a fire. He and his two daughters were able to safely escape, but lost everything in the blaze. He did not have insurance at the time.

A Fire Benefit Fund has been set up at River Valley Bank in Merrill to assist with the family.

According to the Lincoln County Veterans’ Service Office Kenny and his two daughters would like to thank everyone for their help during this time.
