Tomahawk Police Department Release

City of Tomahawk Chief of Police Al Elvins announed today that on Monday, December 17, the Tomahawk Police Department received information that a student of Tomahawk High School had made an alleged threat to bring a firearm to the school complex on Friday, December 21. 

Investigation into the threat by the Tomahawk PD has identified a juvenile suspect.  The threats have been unsubstantiated and the school will be handling the discipline in this matter.

In addition to this threat, Chief Elvins also reports that his department received additional information of a possible bomb threat on Friday, December 21.  This threat has also been unsubstantiated and rumor based.

Chief Elvins wants to remind all individuals to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement.
