Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Late last week, officers responded to a Tomahawk residence in the overnight hours after a report of screaming, yelling and violent sounds with multiple people involved. Upon first contact, the person said everything was fine. When officers entered the home, the 23 year old Milwaukee man resisted orders and was eventually taken into custody for disorderly conduct. He was taken to the hospital to be cleared and eventually transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.

There was a two vehicle accident in a business parking lot. There were no injuries reported and minor damage to the vehicles. The two parties involved elected to handle the matter privately.

Over the weekend a Mosinee woman reported her wallet stolen from an area establishment. The victim said she left it on the bar, turned around, and it was missing. As she was from out of town, she did not recognize any of the patrons. She has since taken care of canceling credit and debit card numbers.

Officers are looking into vandalism reported at the gazebo in Washington Park over the weekend. There was also some damage done to light bulbs in that area.
