City of Tomahawk Police Department Reports

A Wausau woman contacted the police department here in Tomahawk regarding calls she was getting from a man. She said she told the man to stop several times, eventually the calls became threatening in nature. Officers contacted the man in question, who denied making the calls. The officer advised him to stop calling or they would get involved. The man denied making the calls.

Officers took a 66 year old Tripoli man into custody on a probation hold. The man came to the police department. The warrant was confirmed and he was transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.

A man reported a break in of his car over the weekend while it was parked in a business parking lot. The man reported nearly $700 worth of stereo equipment taken from the vehicle. An officer is investigating the theft.

A woman reported a verbal altercation between herself and others. The reporting party said the suspects were harassing her. She didn’t want any action due to their intoxication at the time. Officers will be contacting those involved to warn them for disorderly conduct.

An area bank contact police regarding a counterfeit bill. The currency was $5 in value. It was located in a morning deposit from a Tomahawk business.
