A Merrill man was arrested following an investigation into a disturbance in Lincoln County over the weekend.
A Lincoln County Sheriff deputy responded to a 911 call at the town of Corning home.
Thirty three year old Nicholas Young had his hands concealed by a blanket and refused to show his hands to the deputy. When he was being taken out of the home, he physically resisted efforts and later began kicking the door of the residence.
A Merrill Police Officer was called to the scene to assist in taking Young into custody. Deputies indicated that alcohol was a contributing factor in the incident. Young was charged with resisting arrest, and released yesterday after posting bond.
