Tomahawk Residents will be exchanging their snowsuits for swimsuits today.
The Happy Snapper located on Lake Mohawksin will be hosting their annual Polar Plunge for Charity today. Many people will be braving the icy waters for a good cause.

Individual and team jumpers have been busy collecting pledges for their favorite charities. In the past they have raised upwards of $10,000 each year.

This is the eighth year that they will be holding the event. In that time they have raised over $70,000 that has gone to charity. Once again this year, some of the jumpers will be costumed, with prizes awarded for best costume and jumper.

Registration begins earlier in the day, with participants beginning the plunge at around 1:00. The public is welcome to attend the plunge and cheer on the participants.
