Next week, the Northwoods Entrepreneurial Network (NEN) is sponsoring a free workshop and roundtable discussion focusing on types of businesses identified as being needed in our northwoods communities.
The group is encouraging entrepreneurs to come hear county economic development directors, chamber of commerce leaders, downtown development execs, plus business outreach specialists, real estate agents and other development professionals. They’ll discuss entrepreneurial opportunities for those looking to start or expand businesses in the Northwoods.
Board Member Dan Kuzlik says, “ While (our Network) has been in existence for 7 years, this is the 1st time we are connecting local entrepreneurs with a group of business development professionals to determine what type of businesses are most likely to succeed in our local communities.”
The program will take place on one week from today at Nicolet College at 6:00 pm. Although the program is free to the public, they are asking attendees to register for this event by contacting Michelle Madl-Soehren, NEN President at 715-365-4492 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
