The Tomahawk School District is calling for nominations for its inaugural Distinguished Alumni Award.
The purpose of the Award, which was established late last year, is to recognize outstanding alumni of Tomahawk High School who have maintained a high standard of excellence and distinguished themselves through their work, personal accomplishments, or in the lives of others. These individuals exemplify the ideals of the School District of Tomahawk and the community it serves, and should held as role models for current and future Tomahawk High School students.
Must be a graduate at least 15 years prior to nomination.
May have military service in place of graduation.
Nominees will have distinguished themselves through their work, personal accomplishments, or in the lives of others.
Award may be given posthumously.
Nominees must be in good standing in their community, past and present.
Once a nomination is made it will be reconsidered on an annual basis.
The nominations are available on the school district website and are due back February 25. Anyone selected would be honored this spring, including at the Tomahawk High School graduation.
