A Tomahawk man was airlifted following a weekend crash.
At just before 7:00 Saturday morning, a 911 call reported a vehicle rolled over on Highway 86 near West Kraft Rd. According to a Lincoln County Sheriff Deputy, the vehicle left the roadway, traveled into the ditch for over 200 feet before striking a culvert and going airborne.
The driver, 24 year old Dustyn Duplayee was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Tomahawk Fire Department. He was transported to Ministry Sacred Heart before being airlifted. He was listed in critical but stable condition as of Sunday night.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor according to the sheriff’s office. The investigating deputy is awaiting the results of a blood test and will likely cite the driver for a second offense operating while intoxicated.
