Yesterday, northwoods entrepreneurs met on the Nicolet College Campus for a roundtable discussion.
The discussion and workshop focused on the types of businesses that have been identified as being needed in our northwoods communities.
Included in the discussions were economic development directors, chamber of commerce directors, downtown development executives, business outreach specialists, and real estate agents.
Those professionals spoke on the entrepreneurial opportunities for those looking to start or expand their businesses here in the Northwoods.
The Northwoods Entrepreneurial Network put on the workshop. Board Member Dan Kuzlik said, “ While our Northwoods Entrepreneurial (Club) Network has been in existence for the past 7 years, this is the first time we are connecting local entrepreneurs with a group of business development professionals to determine what type of businesses are most likely to succeed in our local communities.”
