Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Officer’s will investigate a theft of a number of items from a Tomahawk business earlier in the week. The owner of the business was out of town at the time of the complaint. The owner will be completing the necessary information upon return at which time the department will continue to look into the incident.

Officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint involving 2 individuals at a Tomahawk residence. One of the suspects was on extended supervision with the Department of Corrections and advised about contacting the agent. In the next few hours, there were 2 more calls, and at that point one of the two parties involved elected to stay elsewhere for the rest of the night.

Officers are investigating shoplifting from a Tomahawk store. The reporting party said it has occurred on several occasions. They verified the suspect using surveillance videos which was viewed by police.

A report of a fight lead to arrests of multiple individuals. The reporting party called about the altercation in a truck in an ally off of West Spirit Avenue. As a result a 36 year old man was taken into custody on multiple charges and a probation hold. A 30 year old man was arrested, charged with domestic disorderly conduct and a 2nd OWI. A 27 year old female had controlled substances and drug paraphernalia and will be charged as a result.

An officer responded after receiving a call about a logging truck that spilled several logs on North Tomahawk Avenue. The officer found six 8″ logs on the side of the road. The street department was contacted.
