A former Antigo principal facing drug charges entered into a plea deal yesterday in Langlade County Court.
The trial for John Lund was set to begin yesterday prior to the deal. He was facing 7 felonies including possession of THC with intent to deliver, manufacturing THC and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
As part of the deal, Lund pleaded guilty to 1 count of manufacturing or delivery of marijuana. The other 6 charges will be dismissed.
The 48 year old was arrested as part of a larger investigation in the fall of 2011. That lead to charges against multiple teachers and coaches from the Antigo and Merrill School district.
According to court records Lund will be sentenced at a hearing March 6.
