The School District of Rhinelander will be hosting a series of community meetings in the lead up to a school referendum.
On February 19, 2013, the community will vote on whether to allow the School District of Rhinelander to exceed the levy for operating purposes. The School District is proposing to exceed the levy $4 million per year for three years.
District administrators and staff will be available to answer questions and provide information to anyone wishing to attend any of the upcoming meetings. The district also has more information including commonly asked questions on their website.
There will be multiple question and answer sessions through out the district leading up to the referendum. Coming up today will be a meeting for the Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander at noon at the Days Inn, and then the Lions Club at 6:30 at the Fireside Supper Club.
