Tomahawk Elementary students recently held an increasingly popular math competition.
Fourth and fifth graders put their skills to the test with Math 24.
Math 24 is a math competition that involves manipulating 4 given numbers that have to be added, subtracted, multiplied and/or divided to get an answer of “24”. Students must practice to become fluent and fast. The object is to beat their opponents and score the most points.
4th grade champions are: 1st place Alex Norman, 2nd place- Trey Baalke, 3rd place- Nick Arnott
5th grade champions:1st place- Aubrey Anderson, 2nd place- Travis Phillips, 3rd place- Jack Lacina
Also receiving the award for Honesty and Integrity was 4th grader Payton Bunce.
