Officials are seeking the public’s help following a break-in at a Town of Bradley business.
Lincoln County Deputies responded to an alarm at Staton’s General Store early Friday morning. Those at the scene discovered where the building had been forcibly entered. Nearby agencies assisted in checking the area.
Then on Saturday evening at 9:30, the alarm sounded again. A Deputy and Trooper arrived minutes later, a witness who was parked nearby to exchange children told them he had just seen a man crawl out of a window. Numerous law enforcement members formed a perimeter as a K9 unit tracked through the woods, but the search was hindered by blowing snow and extreme temperatures.
Deputies have collected evidence from the scene and are continuing their investigation but so far it does not appear anything was taken during either incident.
If you have any information on this break in, or saw any suspicious activity around the business early Friday morning you are asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers of Lincoln County.
