To celebrate the second anniversary of the opening of Frederick Place, the Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing will be hosting a benefit dinner early next month.
Since opening in January of 2011, Frederick Place has provided nearly 8,000 nights of emergency shelter for almost 200 people. The residents come from more than 7 counties and stay for around 40 days.
The benefit dinner will be held at Holiday Acres resort on February 2. In addition to individual tickets at $40, they are also offering special packages for businesses civic groups, faith communities or families.
