A teen took a family member’s vehicle without permission. The reporting party didn’t want to list the vehicle as stolen. An officer later located the vehicle backing out on 2nd Street. The teen was cited for operating without a license.

An officer was assigned to investigate a burglary on Bay Mill Road. The break-in was reported by a person watching the home while the owner was out of town.

Officers are investigating an incident that occurred earlier this week. 911 received an initial call with arguing and a hang up. Dispatch contacted the person who said they would work it out. A 3rd call was disconnected and a fourth went to voice mail. When officers arrived the suspect had already left the scene. The reporting party said their had been a verbal and physical altercation.

Officers responded two a home multiple times for a noise complaint regarding a rocking chair. The reporting party said the squeaking was disturbing. The officer contacted the noisy offender and a mat was placed under the chair. A follow up call reported the noise continuing. The two were referred to work it out with their landlord.

A man was taken into custody Wednesday evening following a probation hold. The 20 year old male was taken into custody at a residence and then transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.
