Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Late last week a 20 year old Tomahawk male was picked up a residence. The request was made by the man’s probation and parole agent. After being taken into custody he was transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.

An officer worked with the Rhinelander Police Department and the area Salvation Army to assist a Rhinelander woman in the area with a food and hotel voucher for the evening.

There were several accidents reported over the weekend in the city including a 2 vehicle crash with road blockage due to a rear ending on West Wisconsin Avenue and North 4th Street. Also, there was minor damage done to a Lincoln County Sheriff Vehicle after it was struck to a police vehicle.

Police were called to a Tomahawk location for a physical domestic incident. As a result a 55 year old man was taken into custody for false imprisonment and Domestic Disorderly conduct.

A person called reporting a driving complaint over the weekend. An officer located the vehicle on East Wisconsin Avenue. The officer detected alcohol and asked the driver to perform a standard field sobriety test. As a result the 24 year old man was cited for 1st offense operating while intoxicated.
