Coming up tomorrow the Northwoods Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance will offer a guided snowshoe hike in the Underdown area of the Lincoln County Forest.
They say to come out and enjoy the wonderful landscape created by the Great Wisconsin Glacier 10,000 years ago. The trail, which was designed by Northwoods Chapter member Chris Schotz, is of moderate difficulty.
Organizers for tomorrows event say to bring your snowshoes, drink and weather appropriate clothing. Hot cider, hot chocolate, cookies and a fire will be waiting at the end of the hike.
The event leaves from the Underdown parking lot on Copper Lake Road tomorrow morning at 10. The event is free, but good will offerings will be accepted.
