Coming up next week, Tomahawk residents will have a chance to weigh in on the upcoming North Fourth Street project.
Several city committees are working on the project on North 4th from the new bridge all the way to the four way stop.
This project is the first issue being targeted by the newly formed Community Development Authority. They are trying for a Community Development Block Grant to help cover a portion of the project. To do so, next week’s public hearing is part of the required Citizen Participation Plan.
The hearing will also help identify other projects. The public hearing will take place at 6:30 next Tuesday at City Hall.
Also coming up later in February, the city of Tomahawk will hold two separate meetings to learn more about the upcoming project. Those meetings will take place in the morning and evening February 14.
(We will also have Public Works Director Mike Tolvstad as a guest on our morning forum coming up on February 6th where he will discuss the project.)
